The self-limiting parallel heating tape for Koi pond heating consists of two tinned copper conductors (1.2mm). In addition, this core element is surrounded by an insulating sleeve and a protective braid made of tinned copper wire (resistance max. 0.0180hm / m according to VDE 0254). This increases the mechanical strength of the heating tape. The heating tape thus fulfills all the latest international standards. An outer jacket made of heat- and chemical-resistant plastic is applied over the protective braid, which serves as corrosion protection for the braiding and contact protection for the entire system. The heating tape is designed according to the contour of the pond. The self-limiting characteristics of the heating tape prevent overheating even if the heating tape overlaps.

The energy consumption of the system is sensibly limited by a regulation. The electronic controller, with a large LED display, is easily adjustable, but built into a closed housing with protection class IP 65 in order to avoid unintentional adjustment of the temperature. With the 4 meter long probe you are able to determine the correct measuring point. It only has to be avoided that the sensor lies on the heating tape. Everything about this system is pre-assembled and ready to plug in, so that only the heating tape has to be laid, the sensor placed and the temperature set after inserting the waterproof connector. The system is now ready for operation.

The heating tapes are made to measure. Calculate per 10,000 liters with 10 m of heating tape. The energy requirement for continuous operation is 40 watts / meter x heating tape length.
